Lo mejor del establecimiento es su localización para visitar el parque natural (justo al lado de la puerta de entrada al parque) o acceder a la playa. Se ve que hay un esfuerzo por mantener limpias y pulcras las instalaciones (piscina y alrededores), pero se le nota el paso del tiempo. La habitación es correcta en cuanto a dimensiones así como el baño. A diferencia de otros comentarios, vimos el hotel bastante limpio, salvo algún trabajador que no puede llevar la ropa de trabajo sucia en el restaurante... Sólo utilizamos el restaurante para desyunar y lo ofrecido era variado y de calidad. La piscina, cumple su función para relajarse después del día y con opción a tomarse un combinado en el bar. El personal, amable y resolutivo ante las demandas o cuestiones planteadas. En la planta superior dispone de un restaurante con preciosas vistas y una piscina más pequeña sólo para adultos. Resumiendo, buena opción por su ubicación para visitar la zona, pero que nadie espere lujos como en otros hoteles...

We stayed for 3 nights at the start of our Costa Rican trip. The hotel is in a great location - right next to the entrance to the national park, beach and local shops/restaurants. The room was clean and well equipped. The coffee in the room was excellent. Restaurant was Ok and we found a good local one across the road. Good pool and 2 mins from main beach. Breakfast was Ok, but lots of flies around uncovered food at buffet. Staff were polite and helpful. Highlight of the hotel was to see the wildlife outside our window even though we were not facing the National park. Howler monkeys, white faces monkeys, huge iguanas all visited the tree outside our window. We saw more from our balcony than we did on the park tour LOL.

La mejor ubicación para un hotel excelente en Manuel Antonio. Tanto el hotel, como los empleados y el buffet del desayuno, fueron excelentes; pero, lo mejor del hotel es, sin duda, su ubicación colindante al parque y a algunos metros de la playa. Dudo que haya un lugar con mejor ubicación para alojarse en Manuel Antonio.

Emplacement privilégié, juste à l’entrée de la réserve Manuel Antonio . Vous verrez plus de singes du balcon de votre chambre ( côté piscine) que dans le parc . La plage est à 2 min à pied . Personnel aux petits soins, à votre écoute et très accueillants. Privilégiez de payer un peu plus cher pour avoir une vue plus dégagée et avoir une belle luminosité ( nous avions pris 3eme étage et c’était top ) Le restaurant Congo ne nous a pas convaincu mais il y tellement de bons restaurants en ville que ce n’est pas problématique. Par contre laissez-vous tenter par des sushis sur roof top , délicieux 😋 Nous n’avons pas eu la chance d’avoir une salle de sport car travaux… dommage Piscine très agréable au milieu de la végétation.

We stayed at Hotel San Bada from July 30th - August 3rd. They are perfectly situated right outside the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Patk. It is also within a short walk to the public beach as well as restaurants and supermarkets. However, what made the experience memorable were the staff - very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Giovanni, Francisco and Geraldo at the front desk for always making sure we were doing ok. The rooms were also great and it was a treat to see Kerlyn’s and others (housekeeping) creativity in the different animal displays they would leave made out of towels. It was our first time to in Costa Rica - thank you for making our stay memorable. Blessings!!!

The perfect place to spend some downtime after adventuring in CR. Our room was super comfortable, the service was excellent, the pool was relaxing and never busy, the breakfast buffet had all the Western and local eats. The hotel was directly next to the beach as well as Manuel Antonio National Park which was super convenient. My wife and I had a very social summer and it was here where we got to have some leisure time with zero annoyances. I hope to return, and get that tasty rooftop sushi! Salut :)
